Area Details:
Lynchburg is located in Moore County, TN which is the smallest county in the state.
It might be small, but it's home to one LARGE industry - the Jack Daniel Distillery - which is the oldest registered distillery in the United States and averages over 250,000 visitors every year. Every ounce of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey is produced here, fed by the pure, iron-free cave water springs nearby. The distillery is a 3 mile drive from the cabin and is open every day from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for tours.
The Jack Daniel Distillery is just one aspect of Lynchburg, though, as the quaint downtown square and 100 year old courthouse (a 3 mile drive from the cabin as well) provide a perfect setting for antiques, shopping, country dining, store browsing, and relaxation.  AND, if your really hungry Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House Restaurant has two seating's most days, but you might want to walk the 3 miles back to the cabin after the "all you can eat dinner"!
